I have an acrylic daisy cutter that I really like, but I would like to get a wooden call that is a little quieter for finishing birds and hunting in wooded ponds. Would you guys recommend the short barrel or the timbre?
That is a hard question. Both are great calls. I would go with the Short Barrel....no the Timbre.....Short Barrel. That question is like asking me to pick between women and Duck Hunting.
I do use the Short Barrel more, if that helps you.
No that one is a no brainer. DUCK HUNTING IS ONLY 3 MO. OUT OF THE YEAR. For the other question I just bought a timber and love it.
