I posted this in the other forum but it might not be the right place. Has anyone ever installed shims from the Browning Gold FLD into teh Silver? IS there any modifications required to get them to fit. I jusat ordered a few and plan to see how they fit. My silver is shooting slightly left with most all loads. Thanks!

Never tried them when I had those shotguns....however, you might check and make sure the choke tube well is bored (from the factory) concentric to the bore.

Remove barrel and hold up to a light source while looking up the bore and note the area where your choke tube seats into the rear of the well. There should be a slight dark ring at the base of the choke tube where it butts up to the bore. If, it looks more of a crescent moon image, your choke tube is likely sitting eccentric to the bore which will make it shoot off from POA. Basically, it that's the case, the only good fix is a new barrel.
