Cleaning the gun tonight, I forgot i put it in its case wet, so it had some small patches of rust showing. I used an abrasive sponge and it looks like i scraped away alot of the dark anodization on the top of the receiver! :help: Its noticably more metalic looking. Im wondering if this will make it more likely to rust if water gets on it? should i get it camo dipped? Who and how much would that cost if that is what is needed? Thanks.

Dark anodized? Anodize is an aluminum finish so if your talking the aluminum frame area then it will not rust, but it sounds like your talking about the Parkerized or dull metal finish on the barrel's receiver section. That can rust if you don't keep it oiled. If you want to refinish it you can camo dip it or you cold Black Ice it or similar finish. Black Ice is a Teflon coating.
