I found a good deal on a12 guage benelli Super 90 but it has a full choke (I think, a dime won't fit through the barrel and the only marking on the barrel says 12 guage magnum) 2 questions: 1. Is this a 3" gun? We checked it and a 3 " shell fits in the chamber we did not fire it to see if it would cycle and it says "12 guage magnum" on the barrel. 2. Assuming this is a full choke in which I do not want. If I had a fixed choke barrel I would want it to be modified, but really would want tubes. Question is how much trouble is it to either have the barrel altered to take tubes or just cut it off to be modified? and/or how hard is it to get a different barrel?

All super 90's have a three inch chamber. The choke can be opened up with a adjustable hand reamer If[the barrel is not chrome lined the only thing you need to check that is some touch up blue, if it takes is not chrome lined if it doesn't its chrome and the you need carbide to cut it. tru choke can be installed because it will cut the steel under the chrome and let the chrome micro chip out not wreaking the cutter
