Steel target load recipe

So I bought a box of kent velocity steel target loads. I liked them and want to reload a similar shell. They were one ounce and when I cut one open the wad looked just like the b&p 1oz wad from precision reloading. I have almost every manual but can't decide what to load. Want something simple without spacers.

Does anyone have any advice?

Page 4 for MG42 with steel shot.

I like the MG42/STS (Formerly known as the Steel Target Special Wad) wad from Ballistic Products, ask for the-
MG42 12ga Cushioned Wad data sheet #LD12MG42081205 from BP when ordering or PM me your email and I'll send it.
That sheet contains info for several different powders including Unique, SR7625, SR 4756, Herco, Universal, BlueDot, HS6, HS7, Longshot under 3/4 to 1 oz of steel shot.
1 oz loads crimp nice without spacers. I've loaded 3/4, 7/8 and 1 oz loads in the MG42. They all work well on clay with #7 steel. The 3/4 oz load over Unique is incredibly soft shooting at 8200psi/1270 fps. I like this load enough that I bought a bag of VP51 wads to get away from the filler. As soon as I can resupply myself with Titewad, I'll be giving those a whirl.

Thanks for posting that information wildflights! I found some data the other day and it showed BPI/STS wads, I didn't know the STS wad and the MG42 wad were the same wad.

Yesterday I reloaded some 1 oz steel #6 loads in FGM hulls with the MG42 wad with 29 grains of SR 4756 powder. The 1 oz of steel #6 shot fit perfect inside the MG42 wad.
