So as I understand, cheddite hulls (Rio, Kent, and Estate gold brass) are mentioned a lot in steel reloading.
So are AA and STS hulls junk for reloading steel, a pain in the arse, or are none of them called for in steel recipes?
I have about 200 mixed AA/STS hulls that are all once fired and wondered if they should just be dedicated for skeet/small game loads.
You can get all the RIO hulls you want free from your local gun club, however be sure and check them for cracks. I just got 700 more from the Amarillo Gun Club and found seven with cracks that would ruin a gun. Ned S
