Hey guys,

So I'm looking far in advance to find a guided duck hunt in Arkansas for next season. Every year, my brothers and I go on a duck hunt together. We usually just hunt public lakes outside of Dallas, but we wanted to step it up a notch and head out to somewhere different. I'm looking for a good guide in Arkansas with or without a lodge. The closer to Texas is a plus, but not a must. If y'all know of some reasonable places to go that would be great. I know some guides set everything up and have it all ready for you, but I kinda like the prep work, so if it's not a wake up and hunt place, that is fine with me. Let me know if you have any suggestions on where to go. Thanks for your help.

Oh and are bands pretty common around there... never had the pleasure of shooting a banded duck.

It's just that we see that post over and over and over. Just look back a few threads. Moderator ought to put together an automated response. I personally haven't ever hunted with one, but if I ever do, I'm going try Byers because of what everyone says on here.

Hunted with backwoods duckclub and huntinglodge out of pine bluff. Wouldn't recommend them. Do a lot of research. I went with them due to good reviews on this website. Just goes to show you that a good guide is an opinion of what your looking for in a hunt
This is true. Also, and I've mentioned this in another post, there are occasions where people register to use this site for the sole reason of using it to pimp their guide service. I have seen instances where individuals register as multiple users via anonymous proxies. By doing that, they can ask questions and respond to them as if there is a legit conversation taking place. Always check the number of posts under a user's name before putting too much stock in any recommendation for a guide service.
