I've never been on Clarks Hill and was planning on heading over there this week to do a little scouting. I was hoping someone could give me a little advice on some good places to check out, I'm not looking for specific holes (unless you want to give em up) just some general information on the lake and areas to check out. Thanks.

I only been on that lake once that I can remember, I live opposite side of the state down toward Columbus. I don't know anyone up your way to ask.

You are going to be limited in what boat ramps you can use, and if you have never been be careful. There are stumps everywhere in certain sections and many of them right out in the middle. I don't think you are going to see a whole lot, unless something has made it down recently. If you area driving in from any where over a 30 minute trip, I wouldn't waste my time. Stay home and go later in the year when it gets colder.

It is insanely low at several lakes in the state. I almost couldn't Gator hunt on Lake Eufaula because it was so low. Good thing I got a long tailed mud motor.

ive seen good reports around appling and evans on the DU map about tons of birds but it had to have been right at sunlight or so Im hoping...
ppl lie on that thing trying to get other ppl to go other places and away from them.
also depends on where they were scouting they may have seen ducks on clarks hill but they were an hour away from evans and put in evans for the city when they logged the info. i know i have accidently put Augusta down for when i saw ducks in Warrenton Ga
