Are the turkeys in district 71 found on public (national forest) land? Not asking for honey holes just curious as I picture turkeys along riparian zones not in the hills.
The land in the valley and along the river is all private. As usual, this is where they spend a lot of time. Late in the spring they follow the melting snow up and some of them are up on the forest land. There aren't many access points though......
Yep, 71 is a draw area. Has a nice youth season, that's the best thing about it! Take a kid huntin.....
