Lesson Learned...

So I got 99% of my crap together on Friday night for a Saturday morning hunt. 4 am on Saturday morning I decided to shed the woodie decoys and bring only the mallards. Well in stead of putting them in the garage (40ft away) I decided to drop them on the side of the drive and says to myself, "Self, we'll take care of those when we get home."

Well... I didn't. Had a great morning, lots of MALLs but only one bit of a small group came within range. Picked one and dropped a drake on my second shot. Got home cleaned the duck, took a nap, and got ready to have an evening out with my lady. My truck was behind hers in the drive.
Her: " You want me to move my car?"
Me: "Nope. I'll drive around ."
Dekes: "CRRUUUNNCH!!! " (oh yeah, I also left my coffee cup there too. Picked up the shards before I took the photo.)

So lesson for today... Don't be lazy, put your %#*€ away before you head out. Enjoy the photo :lol3:

just be glad they were not your Grand fathers -Crowell's. Lincolns ,Shourds or Ward brothers..could have been a $ 800,000.00 dollar mistake !! never to see to see an Auction again!!--looks like some of the Ducks I cleaned when I was just starting out. Look on the bright side could have been a Kid.--Happened to my Brother in a snowstorm --he was 5--then he turned 6' Tall in minutes..Burned terrible on the muffler. We all get to lax..
