Are there any public places in the delta that allow you to hunt afternoons? A group of us are heading up that way next week and staying for a few days. We have our mornings planned out but cannot find anywhere that allows an evening hunt. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys

Why would someone tell you where the ducks in the area are roosting? So you can come into town for three days and shoot every duck out of north Ms? I don't think so.
Not quite. I never asked where theey were. I simply asked if any of the public places allowed for evening hunt. Try reading again
I'm terribly sorry I just saw the title of this thread and got a little upset. Try the mud hole or askew for afternoon hunts. You should know I'm against shooting a roost but since you guys are coming from out of town I don't mind pointing you in the right direction.

Hey, duckinkrazy01, thanks for a great couple of days in the Delta. I had a blast. We need to get back soon with everyones schedules working out in eachothers favor. I can't say that I blame you for asking on this site about hunting in the afternoons. It took me calling three days before we went to the Delta to even get anyone on the phone that acted like they knew anything about the places that they worked for ie... WMA's, or national parks systems... It just didnt seem like they wanted to deal with me and my questions. Who knows they probably get asked the same questions over and over by hunters. I have to say that im sorry about the boat thing. I'm just going to bring it regardless on all the other hunts that we do. Again, thanks to you and Drew for a great hunt hope to do it soon again. Dont forget about the 5th. Talk to you soon. And as for all the hunters on this site, people are not looking for your place that you have had for your entire lives, especially the crew that I run with. I had to take a chance on them and I think that if more people are apt to checking things out that they will find that when people stick their necks out on this site for some freindly advise that they are not just out to find your spot and maybe just maybe everyonce and awhile they are for real. Like when I started out on this thing and didnt know. Thank you duckinkrazy for making me welcome. One last thing, from what I've seen so far in the delta is that people are not duck hunters they are duck shooters. Let them finish boys and if they are not coming your way dont shoot at them when they are hella high just so someone won't get the chance to shoot. If you all have any questions fell free....
