Outfall Canal Road Question

My question is directly related to the condition of the dirt road leading into the boat access. Has anyone been down it lately and is it muddy or dry? Accessible by 2 wheel drive? Last year at this time it was a mess. Might be there in the near future and just wanted to be informed of the road conditions because I will be in a 2 wheel drive. Also, is the ramp in good condition like last year? Just don't want to get stuck. Thanks in advance for any info.

Wouldn't attempt it in your vehicle
Plus the boat ramp is basically unusable
Last time I was down there the ramp was blocked by a trailer that snapped off its axle when it hit the drop off that has formed at the ramp

Glad you informed me. Will be sure to steer clear of that. Wouldn't dare dream of getting my brand new lifted 2014 diesel silverado that my mom bought me for CHRISTmas dirty or damaged. I'll just head to high rock instead! :fingerhead:

See things haven't changed much with that ramp in the last 25 years. Pulled my boat out of there one evening and forced the trailer up onto the ramp after one wheel went into that black hole. Pulled the alignment out just enough to wear down and blow out that tire just before getting back into Greenville.
