Some guys and i are coming up from Tennessee to hunt around jamestown, ND....I am wondering what weather to expect for OCt 18-24th. Usally hunt TN and Ark flooded timber, busting ice and freezing, but that is in Dec and Jan. Planning on bringing everything to hunt potholes and fields. Will it be hot? or cold? cool climate gear or 4n1 jackets/vest needed.
i assume most potholes are wader needed? any help on this matter would be great. Looking forward to seeing beautiful ND
Hey we will be arriving when you are leaving! We will be in Jamestown on the 24th. Last year we went got their on the friday october 31st. By tuesday it was 80 degrees out...on friday we had a foot of snow!! We actually had to leave a day early because our exit was the next one down the line that was going to be closed. EXPECT ANYTHING while in ND.
Awesome....thanks for the info. How did you like Jamestown and the hunting there. I have heard nothing but awesome reports and i am looking for full limits hopefully everyday. What did you hunt? potholes? fields? phesants/grouse? I am really pumped and would love to hear about your trip. Are you renting a farmers house?

The weather changes every hour just wait...LOL
We are going to be a little south of u this year again around the 26th of Oct....
