Went to peach point and got a 3 man limit. Steady action early, then it slowed down, then big flocks started working. There were decent numbers, but not like last year. Hopefully some more are on their way down along with some rain.
My dad and I decided to go out to one of our usual duck spots with no previous scouting this year and see what would fly, and we had one flock of mallard fly over our spread and no teal at all.
I live on Lake Livingston, we shot 12 in a 4 person hunt myself my wife ,son and grandson. The old guy and his wife limited with the younguns splitting the other 4. Lots of shooting on the flats but don't know how they did. We scouted Fri. and found the birds but sunday was slack with the old guy clipping 2.
Oh, forgot to mention. I hunted on a ranch near Mad Island and we limited Sat. and were 1 bird short of a 4 man limit Sun.
