Long time lurker, first time poster here.

Just recently upgraded from my 14' Monark w/GD longtail and purchased a 1754 Excel SW F4 with a MudBuddy Black Death 4200.

Tell me what ya think.

@ chris_k - It actually has an option that I added called a Superliner. It's a textured coating similar to a Rhino Lining that is sprayed on all the top surfaces of the boat, before the camo paint goes on. You can kind of see the texture in some of the close up pics.

@ pwhnts5 - Big load of 4 or 5 men? lol this boat will prolly never see that. USCG says it's a 4 man boat, but I think 3 guys with dog and gear will be plenty. Maybe I should have bought a Phowler? lol

@ tfccsmkg11 - I think if you have an authorized dealer in your area, they prefer that you order through that dealer. But if you dont have one in your area, which I didnt, you can deal direct with the guys in Utah. The boat plant is in Arkansas, but Excel is owned by Mudbuddy and all their corporate/business operations are in Utah. I just called and got pricing and options over the phone/email, then submitted an order via email. I mailed a deposit and then I chose to drive to Arkansas and pick the boat up myself at the boat plant. I paid the balance at that time. It was an easy process and everyone I dealt with was helpful and friendly.
