Which would you rather have some durable bigfeet full body decoys that cost a little bit more or would you rather have some green head gear that I think look a little better and are a little bit cheaper, but have a confusing foot base. I would prefer bigfeet because the feet isn't confusing. What would be your choice?

yeah what ks said... I can remember in highschool before any of us had any money we would strap about 5 dozen foots on a big sled and pull them out to the field behind our quads. We would go like 30mph and the sled would flip over and we would just keep going, they are super tough. You can pile them in the back of your truck all year long and they still look great..

That said,

On the floaters I do not like removable head, when I cary them in the decoy bag they get too abused, so I got cheaper one peice models.

Talk about durability during the middle of this season we hunted a chiseled corn field and we had our trucks and dekes unloaded and i ran over a sentry bigfoot when I back up to go park. When I picked it up it was compleatly flat but i worked back into shape and it looks perfect. Besides it was dirty and the foot was cracked noyhing was wrong. I just set it up inour spread. Now thats a decoy thats woth it's money. I wounder what a GHG would look like after that.

I say both. But if you need durabilty you should go with the BF. GHG clearly states that the flocked heads are not as durable and they need to be treated with special care. They look awesome but if you can't or don't have the means to treat some of your deks with more care than BF require you should not get the ghg. the flocked heads look great but they need to be treated different than a normal decoy head

I use mainly big foots, they are durable even though they are a little bit more expensive. but there is no doubt that the avery's look really good. the downfall is you cant throw around the avery's like you can the big foots. A few weeks ago i had a chance to sit stand by to hunt with Fred Zink, and Fred had a whole trailer full of the fully flocked avery's and they looked awesome but he had to have them stacked on shelves where as we just pile our big foots into the trailers

I love my bigfoots. When done hunting I can pick them up and stack them in trailer. With bigfoots you don't have to worry about loose parts or scratching the paint. I owned some of the 2004 Avery fullbodies and always had to tighten nuts on the foot bases and watch out for scratching. Sold every one of the Avery decoys and purchased more Bigfoots.

My .02 cents

i have some of the GHGs and really like them. The one thing I don't like are the foot bases. They say to match A body with A base or B body with B base but mine do not have any lettering on the foot bases. If it is cold you are really in for a fight to get them together. I would just leave them together but they are really hard to carry in on some of the long walks.
