who here has ever retarded hen take the hit for their boyfriend drakes? well, i have one multiple encounters where the hen will just swoop right in my target of the drake! thats one of the most annoying things in my opinion when something ticks me off in duck hunting. :pissed:

Man I am just excited to hit a bluebill! Usually I lead the front drake, and hit the last bird in the flock or watch my shot hit about 10 ft behind the flock...

:toofunny: haha no kidding, we had a flock of 15 buzz around back whenever I used to lead birds (changed to a different method), I shot about 7 foot infront of the lead bird and knocked one down about 5 foot behind him. The guys with me thought I was an awsome shot since I was the only one able to get one. I just told them that I shot that one cause I thought somebody would probably be aiming for the lead bird already, and just let them keep thinkin what they wanted  .
