A suggestion is you may want to be more specific, like what do you want to hunt, which part of Cal you are thinking of hunting, etc...
Sorry but I'm not from out there, so can not be of help of where to go. Around my parts-most refuges are closed to duck hunting-or limited.

if your hunting nor cal wou nwant to hunt klamath falls unit 6 closer to the close zone,If your hunting cen cal hit up little dry creek after 12am for a afternoon hunt,If you want a great morning hunt go to sac b unit where the tree's are good luck!
