What call to complement the one I have?

Postby quack-quack » Sun Sep 30, 2012 7:56 pm

Right now I have a RNT Original that I have been using pretty well. I am a beginner/moderate caller but would like something more raspy that would be different than my Original. I hunt marshes and smaller ponds. I think the Original can get pretty loud for where I'm at so nothing louder than that.
Thanks!

Thanks.
I'm not stuck on RNT, just something different than my Original. Also would it be better to go wood or stay acrylic? I'm not timber hunting ao it doesn't have to be a quite call, just raspy and mid range loudness.

My bois d'arc short barrel is medium volume and super raspy, I'm looking for something cleaner and louder, my brother just picked up an Original and I almost always hunt with him, I'm hoping they pair perfectly...

If your not looking for something louder I'd go with an Alpha 2 or an Old Style

I've got an rnt timbre that i've been really happy with. a little softer call if that's what you're looking for. I don't know about the rasp on it though...
