One of the local Conservation Areas has flooded what use to be a marsh but due to the drought turned into a cuckleburr patch. When i was out there last week there were several ducks flying around but i didn't see any landing. I am just wondering how i should set up there is a little bit of flooded timber that i can hide in but it is too thick for the ducks to land in. Should i say forget trying this place? Thanks for any advice and good luck hunting.

Find a spot with tall enough weeds that you can kneel down in with your waders on or take a five gallon bucket or marsh seat and sit on it. If you can find a open hole or create a open hole and hide in the weeds near the open hole, you should be golden.
