Hey guys I am new hear and have a question for you.

I have the chance to get a new baby mojo at normal price or get a very lightly used mallard machine for $80.

Which one do I get.

that's a tought call... we have both, and i would go with the mallard machine if you have a boat to get it to your spot... first because hardly anyone uses one, so they are less likely to get spooked later in the season... second because they give ALOT of motion to your spread... the bad thing is that it's a pain to set up because you have a bunch of stuff that gets tangled up, and you have to have a car or motorcycle battery...

It would suck to have to recharge the battery every night.

:withstupid: you would have to charge the mojo battery every night too

I would go with the mallard machine. It will give your spread something different, but natural.

What do batteries cost so I can see if its worth it. Can I use any motorcycle or car battery?

Im not sure about the mallard machine but the mojo comes with a battery.

You can pick up a good car battery for about 50 bucks.

Ours might run for 2 whole hunts, but once it starts slowing down, it loses it's attraction IMO.

It comes with a charger. Atleast the mojo does. For car batteries you have to buy a battery charger.

That seems like a huge hassel and expense. I might go with the mojo if I cant come up with the extra flow.
