When setting up on a big river or any river for that matter do you think it is better to set up on inside bends or outside bends? I was thinking about his the other day. Will the ducks consistently fly straight lines and cut over corners to save distance when flying a river or will they follow the river no matter the length of course?

I hunt the yellowstone river in montana.I set up between corners on long straight stretches cuz the ducks always cut corners. in the straight stretches they can see dekes and dont miss them when cutting corners. they also have oppertunity to see them from afar and for a long time before they get there. just my 2 cents hunt 80 to 100 days a season. works for me.
