Mallards in the area

Postby MallardMan7051 » Thu Dec 27, 2012 10:51 pm

Hey all, I'm new to Hunting in NC. Grew up hunting on lake Erie in OH getting nothing but mallards and Canada's, but I can't seem to find a place where either are. I've scouted countless times for these guys but I'm not sure if anyone could point me in the right direction to scout. I'm not looking for exact points or even distinct areas for that matter. Just a little something to get my feet wet and go scout for myself. I usually launch at glenburnie in New Bern and have seen nothing but bluebills. And I've seen hundreds of ruddys when I've hunted cahooque creek this year. If anyone has any advice it would be much appreciated. Im located in the new bern area with a boat, if anyone wants to
Come out just shoot me a message and we can work something out before the season ends! Thanks

If you've found the bills I'd say hunt them. Ain't nothin better than killing bluebills.
