I've been staring at that skyline for 22 years, and it never gets old... Some hunts are better than others, and getting out of bed may suck some days, but mornings like that one in particular... make every mistake you made the day before... forgotten.

Especially when you hear those... wings...

Right, this thread is just full of awesomeness, how'd your hunt end up? We managed a few doves that buzzed by but not enough to fill any limits.

Had a good opener, we ended up with 88. Spent afternoon hunt with my nephew and working the dog. He got 10 dove on his first ever hunt, 2 on Monday. He is definitely now hooked, made for the best dove opener ever.

Good to hear! Always good to get a new hunter hooked! Sounded like a good time, I've never enjoyed a dove hunt like that myself!
