boat blind ...do i need one

Postby bflowers » Sun Feb 17, 2013 4:05 pm

I have a 14 ft V-Hull duck boat. I currently dont have or use a blind and try to just push it into the reeds. My question is do people recommend me using a blind or is it not that big of deal. If you do recommend using a blind what type/design. I would like something light and an opening for the dog to see birds and get in and out of the boat. All opinions greatly appreciated

If you have the option to burry it in thick reeds wherever you hunt then I wouldn't worry about a blind. Just make sure the boat is painted well to remove any shininess. Bend over some reeds if possible to help conceal the profile of the boat if something flys overhead.
