I wish i had a picture of it so bad but i dont. When i was 16 years old i shot an albino teal. I didnt know what i had shot and an older man ran over from his blind asking me if he could see the bird. He took a picture of it. It was all white, and where the green would be on a greenwing it was a light brown. It had orange eyes. If only i shot that in a more recent year and it would be mounted, or atleast id have a picture of it. But me being young, and stupid me and my buddies wondered if it tasted like a normal teal. It did.
Anybody else ever shoot albino ducks?

There was an article in a cal waterfowl magazine on an albino teal hen, a biologist said it was due to a lack of something in the feathers.

Saw either an albino or Leucistic collared pigeon yesterday and have seen a few leucistic canada geese and hen mallards out of season. Does that count?

cant remember if it was pete-pec of duxrus, but one of them had a pic of one they had mounted in the taxi forum. should be able to search and find it.
