Any guess to what hybrid?

I'm guessing greenhead/wigeon but not sure. Whatever it is it looks cool

What state was this in?! That's awesome! its banded too? I have only seen one hybrid in my life last year and it was a hybrid snow/canada chased him for a month straight when the weather was warm in our February goose season.

ya it is banded not sure what state I found it on an app for hunting that also has waterfowl photography and identification.
If it flies it dies, if it just sits there it dies too.

maybe this link will help, it's not a hybrid at all. This duck is no doubt part of an aviary since it's pinioned, only one wingtip so it can't fly, that would also explain the band. http://www.wildfowl-photography.co.uk/w ... wigeon.htm
