around Kuna Idaho. I like the deep water but I haven't seen many birds this summer. Or when is the best time to hunt up their?

You won't see that many birds during the middle of the summer. Ducks migrate!

Most of the ducks are further north than the US/Canada border. Not that there isn't ducks here but judging an area to hunt based on the number of ducks in July/August is plain insanity.

Sounds like some further scouting is in order.
