mojo settup

I don't use Mojo's because I really don't have the need, but over the last week I've been watching ducks feeding in a field and noticed/realized something. I would see ducks hop/fly over each other to get at the food. It seemed to me that in this situation setting mojos close to the ground might be more beneficial than setting them 4-5' off the ground. I was just curious if anyone does or has tried this.

A duck in the air cannot tell the distance off the ground/water until they get in the uh-oh zone. By the time they realize it, there should be some shots going off.

I keep them just high enough to be seen whether in the field or on the water. If its wide open water or a low cut field the spinners are going to be a foot or less off the ground/water. If I'm hunting cattails or marshy area I will put them above the grass line so they can be seen from far off, this could be 6' above the water. Same with high stubble corn, usually about 4 foot up.

Just don't put it 15 feet in the air in a bare field and there is nothing to worry about.
