How quick is to quick

Postby holtspur » Fri Dec 13, 2013 12:42 am

I had a kind of unexpected roost shoot the other evening about 5 min before sunset. Only had a handful of steel since i was squirrel hunting, but managed to limit on woodies. My little bro has been begging me to take him as I sat and watch the woodies come back and light and several others come in. However this was only 3 days ago so I'm thinking it may be to soon to go in and shoot it again. What do y'all think?

If it's a true roost, from my experience, if you hunt it again they usually will not come back after that. The small stream we hunt, we go there once a week to allow the 6 days for ducks to return.
