RNT Original

Postby Spiraleyes » Thu Sep 30, 2004 11:31 am

Hi All,

I just ran across this site, and I'm totally stoked to read through it!

Here's my question: My dad recently gave me a RNT Redneck original acrylic call (single reed). I was wondering if anyone knows what it's specialties are (ie, long, close, easy, hard, etc). I've never really learned how to call, and I'm wondering if this is a good call for me to learn on.

Also, I just ordered a set of RNT calling cd's to help me out on this. I was wondering if that was a good move, or if I should send those back and get something else to learn from.

Thanks for any input!

I have the same call. It will do every thing, but call the ducks by itself.
It is a single reed so it may take you alittle longer to learn than a double, but you will have better range with this call. Soft, loud, feeder to the hail call, this is one of the best calls out there. The RNT cd's will help you learn.

Order reed & cork replacements from RNT. Keep good corks in the call.

Good Huntin....

I just wanted to let everyone know that I got those cd's, and they are terrific. I'd recommend them to anyone that wants to become a better caller.
