trouble with a lazy hen call?

Postby hunt Chessies » Wed Nov 30, 2005 10:41 pm

I have a little trouble slowing down the greeting call. I can do it fast but have trouble doing it lazy sounding. Can you guys give me some advice? I have a JJ lares ACH call. Is there any calls that you could recommend that it would be easier on? I have been practicing but it doesnt seem to get any better. Thanks

is your call single or double reed. I like using a single reed when i slow things down?? You might not be block your air off long enough it the call You wanna make it sounds like she's BAGGIN ducks to come in. I know my dad can't do it either because he uses so much air the first 2 notes he runs out and it just goes QUACK QUACK QUA and then he gotta breath again. He gets mad when i do b/c he tre's so damn hard and i make it look easy so he says
