Winglock hedge old school

Postby 98ramtough » Wed Dec 07, 2005 9:42 pm

I ordered my Winglock hedge old school from Rick on monday evening and got it in the mail today. Not bad to come all the way out to Washington in two day! He was very classy on the phone and very helpful in choosing a call. The special he has going for $40 for an all hedge call is a great deal!

As far as the call itself, the craftsmanship is incredible. I love the double oring setup on the call. It has great range from way low to up high. The call even rings on the top end. I have never seen an "old school" style double reed that I could make ring on the top end. So far I can't make it stick either, even with the water and freezer test. The call is very easy blowing and sounds great low and whiney and loud and clear. Great product Rick! I usually don't like double reeds much, but this call really has awesome range and i good from a beginner all the way to experienced. I was very suprised how easy the feeder is on this call and how quick and crisp you can make quacks.

Thanks Rick!

Mike
