Wood/Acrylic duck call

Postby Xtra_Grey » Sun Dec 18, 2005 9:36 pm

The other day i was parkin my truck at a pond i hunt near my house and stepped out and found the reed end of a wooden duck call, i took my acrylic reed end out of my acrylic call and the wooden duck call reed end fit in there. It seems to work just fine, but i was wonderin if there is any specific reason y that wouldn't be a good thing to do.

Lots of call makers make a coco/acrlyic or wood acrylic call. A wood barrell should quiet the sound down just a bit....
