Help with RNT Timbre

Postby Humboldt Scaup » Fri Dec 23, 2005 7:52 pm

Just got a RNT Timbre and I have to say, Im VERRRRY disapointed. From what I understood, this call should have a very good low end and be a low volume to medium volume call. This call has no low end and it takes a LOT of air to make it sound even somewhat descent which makes it a loud call. It is also really buzzy. I think I would have better luck with a kazoo. Is this call just badly tuned or did I get hosed. Are these calls easy to send back and have them retuned or is it just hard to polish a turd. :help:
The ducks are right there. Where? Right there. Where? OHHHH they're right there.

I think the ducks will be better off flying straight.

one of the best timber style calls IMO would be the Echo's Timber Call. Try that if u arent sastified with RNT's Timbre. I don't have to much expirence with the Timbre but I do like their Daisy Cutter and Short Barrell. But, yes you should be able to send it back to get it retuned, just call RNT and tell them whats wrong, they should be happy to help.
