I think I paid $16 for my double nasty combo at Sportsmen's Warehouse. My daughter caries the whistle and can blow a mean pintail call

Unlike wally world (whose presence I have been asked not to grace again) you can probably find a good outdoor store that has calls you can try under the guidance of someone who knows what they are doing. I've had good luck playing with the HS bill collector calls this off season, but I'm sure the ducks will tell me what call they like the best.

thanks be to God

I like the phat ladie and yo sista from Primos. I think the new Bill collector from H.S. is about as good as cheap calls get for around $20. The RNT polycarbs are real good too among others but those are the calls I would look at if I were looking at inexpensive calls.

My wife likes to use the illusion double reed. It is small but has a great sound.

The RNT Quackhead is a great call for about $25.
