Bufflehead Call

Postby St Mary's Duck » Thu Jan 19, 2006 7:31 am

I'm looking for a Bufflehead call. Does anyone have any recommendations? I've searched and found nothing specific to that duck. Any suggestions?

Teal whistle..." Peeep....Peeep...Peeep"
Divers like that growl purr through a mallard as well

flexitone makes a diver duck call or just use your mallard call.
I love the fog and rain!

the best way i have found to get them in your face is to have buff dekes, the purr works decent but when they see their brothers they decoy awesome

I agree w/ At home ruddy. Buffies are ones to mostly decoy w/ their species. They rarely pass the oppurtunity to at least swing through the dekes, but most of the time land and loaf for a few minutes.
