I've been an exclusive RNT guy for 17+ years...and I mean EXCLUSIVE! I owned NOTHING else. But after meeting David St. John from ECHO this past hunting season and spending hours sitting at a duck camp kitchen table with him talking calls and hunting, he converted me when no one (including myself) thought that could ever happen. He is one of the friendliest, most humble guys I've ever met. It took me a few hours at that table to even put an ECHO up to my lips. But by listening to the calls and a lot of peer pressure from my buddies, it happened. RNT is great...they have the history to back that up. But here's the way I explain & have explained my conversion to ECHO:
--I hear a guy (in the distance) out hunting who is good on a call and they are using an RNT...I say, "man, that guy can really blow a duck call".
--Same scenario, but this time the person is using an ECHO...I say, "is that a duck or are there hunters over there?'
--Lastly, what converted me? David St. John and the kind of guy he is. If I'm a call maker and have my own business making calls, he is the mold of the type of person I would want representing my company. Mr. Dunn, you should be proud to have him on your team. OH, and he's damn good on a call too.

Here's my "just started" collection of ECHO (excluding the call on the far right). Rest assured...it's gonna grow. So look out DBishop! HA!

I love it  Scott sees it the way it should be seen. Its not a competition about who sells or makes the most calls. Theres thousands of good call makers out there. Ive met some good folks just dealing calls and Scott your one of them. Nice looking calls for sure.
No contest ring. No gimmicks. No compromising. It’s just pure, raw, balls-to-the-wall, don’t tell your mother, most powerful, non-nuclear duck calling machine on the planet. This call may not be for everyone. But if you can drive it, Game over......

C'mon Bishop, "thousands" is pushing it to the very limit.......Maybe closer to a hundred or few hundred at the most IMO. FWIW Razorback, those 2 you mention are tops in my book, and by a long shot. I too was a diehard RNT guy not so much because I thought they were the best but more or less by default. My first high end call was a cocobola Original and that call was the start of my 100+ RNT call addiction. I currently own about 6 RNT's and close to 20 Echos. And while I have tried a whole mess of other brands, I always come back to those 2( and Kent's Echo offshoot-Hobo). Especially for hunting calls on my lanyard.

Looks good. Those older Open waters are pretty neat calls and they sound great.
