Your favorite drake call

Postby Normmcclean » Wed Jun 26, 2013 6:44 pm

I really use my drake whistle on public ground with pressured birds. Right now I just do the humming whistle on a primos cheaply. I was just looking for something a little better. Looking for good dedicated drake mallard call anything better out there or should I just stick with what's working

I use to have a DC mallard drake call..was to big and bulky for me...so I switched to Buck Gardner's 6n1 whistle....works great.

I use the drake call in the fog as well as late season. I just got one of Aaron's call and can't wait to give it a try. Up until now my favorite was the Suavie Island whistle. They are now sold by Kum Duck Calls. I believe the Suavie Island is a little easier to blow and definitely louder but that can be a negative.

Any 6 in 1 type whistle, or most any pealess dog whistle. I need to get on the list for a Wingert. Those look really nice.

Just got my Wingert Whistle in today, as well as one I ordered for a buddy. They're both green and orange dyed stabilized box elder burl. Incredibly happy with the turnout, they look great and sound even better. Thanks again Aaron, best customer service in a call company I've experienced to date. The lanyard is finally complete!
