Bocote RNTs

Postby kyduckhunter37 » Tue Jul 23, 2013 6:36 am

Has anybody bought/tried any new bocote RNTs? Wantin to know what they sound like compared to cocobola...if they sound about the same or completely different. And maybe what type call sounds best in bocote. Wanting to get a new wood RNT for the lanyard before season. Any info will help. Thanks

IMHO, I have always preferred the sound of bocote to coco in RNT duck calls, not to mention the much nicer look of bocote in general IMO. The sound is much closer to hedge IMO, which is what I am personally looking for in a wood duck call. I have owned over 15 coco RNT's and only 3 remain. My personal choice would be a normal Daisy Cutter or Short Barrel.
