Postby Humboldt Drake » Fri Dec 17, 2004 10:13 am

does anybody know if it would be alright to use household cleaning items such as hydrogen poroxide with a Q-tip to clean your reed and tone board? maybe itll give you a better tone or maybe its bad for your call?anyway im not to worried about it just thought i would try something like that.

Whast is the call made out of?

It is ok to use warm water and a little dish soap on acrylic or poly.

Use tape water, elbow grease and a q tip. Don't use hydrogen peroxide, you might etch the surface of the reed or tone board and ruin the sound of the call. If you are dead set on a solution, use rubbing alcohol.

Current MFG. Rep of chemicals chimming in.
