Committed Custom Calls

Postby BonzaiDuck227 » Sun Sep 01, 2013 6:55 pm

Wanted to order one and give it a try after all the hype I have been hearing but his site say he's currently not building calls. Any reason why and any idea when they'll start being turned again?

From what he told me in an email he's unable to put the time into making calls and keep his customer service as great as it has been due to whatever work he's doing now so he's no longer making calls or taking orders.

Those are Garys " Throwback " style that he came out with in honor of the Olt style calls he has a passion for using. The light colored wood call in that group is a smallbore and the two at the left end are two Throwback Smallbores in a design that he came up with shortly before he stopped making calls.

Maybe a glimmer of hope for us CCC fans. Just saw on a different forum where he is looking for a CNC person to have a run of acrylics made. So it looks like he may be getting back at it soon. At least I hope he is. :grooving:

Well if its true I definitely hope things work out for him. I'm not usually interested in acrylic calls but I'd have to have at least one of his ;)

You think he will make an acrylic snubnose or make a new call all together. An acrylic snubnose would be sweet.

I hope he does his whole line but I know that would be cost prohibitive at first. Depending on what his best seller was and I'd just guess that it would be either the Snubnose or the Throwback. Regardless, it will be mine LOL
