Recieved my hybrid today and I think I might need a longer reed. I purchased the reed pack with it but I think I might need to go even longer than the 1.355. Anyone have one to spare or should I call joe on monday to see if I can send back the reed pack for longer pack? My pack came with 1.335, 1.340, 1.355

Just call Bret and get some reeds. I would say get a 1.360, 1.365, 1.370, and a 1.375. I have recently gone to running a 1.365 and I like that for now. It is fun to play around with the different reeds and see what works for you. You might like one reed now, but down the road you will become a better caller and might like something that is totally different.

I used to like the 1.350. Now I like the 1.375 with dogears.

1.365 is just right for me. Best calls in the market if you as me.

Gotta hand it to Lares for peddling pre-cut reeds: tuning for dummies, so folks who can't handle that simple task can still get the most out of their calls and turn a tidy profit at the same time.
If you think I'm wrong, you might be right.

You can cut your own reeds, it works but in my case I never get a straight line, or cant never duplicate one...... also for that matter I cant find where to buy that wide of a reed they use at the shop.... ?

Joes reeds are precision cut, exact same from the ones I own to the ones the next guy runs.... I know what I'm getting. That's worth the extra coins to me
