Broken Daisy Cutter

Hey guys, dropped my DC off the table and snapped the tone board off. :no: Going to send it in, any idea what its going to cost me and how long it is going to take to get it back?

If I remember correctly acrylic inserts were $45 last I inquired about a replacement.

Thought it was closer to $50 but somewhere between $45 and $55 maybe? Call Butch :thumbsup:

I could be wrong,would not be the first time :lol3: ,it's been a few years since I inquired about a replacement insert,price might have changed since then.
Call the shop and find out for sure,and they will get you squared away.

I sent in a Short barrel and didn't get charged anything. When I got it back it was the best sounding call I've ever blown. Still to this day I don't know what is different about it. I've had 30 + short barrels and this one is special....Good luck. RNT CS is top notch!

acrylic weld, $10. it takes about 30 seconds and your done. seems like the guys at the plant keep dropping theirs just to see if i can fix them.

Loctite Super Glue Professional Liquid does wonders too. I glued one back together and tried to bread it at the bond. Couldn't do it. I even tried soaking it in water for a few hours to see if that would degrade it any.

I've fixed a couple with gorilla glue. One was a broke off toneboard, the other was a broke off cork slot nib. Neither one has broken since.
