anyone try refuge calls? also, i just got my hobo icu2 and i hate it. i read so many good things about them and my icu2 does not sound good at all... is it maybe because the reeds arent broken in?

I've got a refuge bus ticket, nvictus, and acorn shaker. I really like them all. My favorite is the nvictus. Really nice all around Hunter. Bus ticket is a super loud call but surprisingly has a great bottom end. Acorn shaker is a classic timber style call. I'll agree on the hobo calls...really like kent, but not a huge fan of his calls but I do like the sounds I can get out the prime meat.

Duck calls don't need to be "broke in" your call could possibly be out of tune.
