Hobo Prime meat

Postby J Locker » Thu Dec 05, 2013 12:01 am

Last season I purchased a Hobo Prime meat, and the call sounded great at the time. Now after having it for a season it sounds high pitched, and locks up very easily. I have replaced the cork and reed a couple of times, but just can't get the call to sound good again. Has anyone else experienced this problem or have any suggestions.

Make sure the reed is in the right way. When squeezed gently between your fingers, the "U" shape that it makes should be placed in the call so the bottom of the "U" lays against the toneboard.
