I kind of like Buck's calls. They're definitely great mass produced calls and very reasonable calls. I do prefer Echo though, the Echo diamondwood is $55 at cabelas and I love it. You might also check out the Echo all poly calls for $30. The Fowl assassins are another great choice, there a small custom call business located in Albany, Oregon. They make great calls and there duck calls are $30 with free shipping.

I second echo poly calls. An echo poly timber is 30 bucks and sounds awesome. My little brother still uses one as his main call.

Is the diamond cutter the same as the wood/poly timber by echo? Nothing but good reviews on cabelas, plus it's on sale.

I've bought a couple other calls but I still think the DN II sounds the best.

Another vote here for the Echo poly's. They have single, doubles, and in both timber and open water.

I bought a "Let-Em-Lite" timber call last year and finally able to use it this season. Have used it in North Dakota and now in Louisiana.

He has a website, but I bought mine off his ebay page for about $35.
