Curious to hear what goose calls everyone is using. Im currently using one made by a guy here in town and it sounds great but takes a ton of air to blow. Ive been gettig into goose hunting more and more and looking for an upgraded call. looking for something acrylic and a quieter call. any suggestions?
IMHO, you can't go wrong with anything in the Tim Grounds line up. I have a Triple Crown and a G Overhauler. Both are very good calls. Can hit the high end as well as the low moans with both with the G being a bit higher pitched. I also hope to get a Disciple from C&S custom calls soon. Maybe from Santa  . His calls are awesome looking and sound just as good. Also they are under $90 if money is an issue.
If you want a deep goosey tone a Molt Gear EX3d is the way to go. I have owned all 3 of their calls and the EX3d is the best by far, even though it is the cheapest. Some other good calls are the G Overhauler and the original Microgoose for a faster running high pitched call.
Ive used others from high dollar to cheapies over the last 20 years, but, the one I always turn to is my Sean Mann Eastern Shoreman
