whats the best third call for my lanyard????

Postby dogone » Thu Feb 03, 2005 9:28 pm

I am currently looking for a third call for my lanyard. The two other calls on the lanyard will be
1. Keith allen pure duck
2. Zink XR2
3. ????

I was considering an RNT , I have had them in the past and liked them alright. I was thinking maybe the Daisy Cutter, or the original open water. Since both of my other two calls are medium to low range calls I might want my third one to be able to get up and ring a little. I am unsure if the daisy cutter can get the high volume that the original can. Any other suggestions will be nice. Thanks

I have a Daisy Cutter and a Timbre and the DC is considerably louder than the Timbre. It can get pretty loud when you really get down on it, but it is more like the short barrel than an original. If you want volume then I'd get an original.

I have an RNT Original and it is pretty loud. It is harder to get soft sounds out of for me though..
