Gary is only doing acrylics at this time. When he gets some extra time I'm sure he will do some wood again. Here's a pic of my acrylics and his new sound file. Think the OP will like it.

You want something between a Daisy Cutter and a cutdown. Tune a DC with a longer reed. Ask RNT for a Mondo tuned light. Or, (best option) order a Mondo or other cutdown tuned correctly and practice until it's second nature.

In my opinion the king of loud and raspy is the cut down...it may take a minute to figure one out though.

Well I found a CCC Throwback Bigbore and I bought it. There were couple suggestions for it and I really like it!!! I appreciated the info on that aunt betty! I just bought a C&S Justifier also, and was about to order a Lares Hybrid and got shutdown on that for a little while by the wife lol. Problem is, couple other calls suggested on here that I would like to try but nobody around here carries them. So I guess I will have to purchase a few of those as well. Wife says I have a problem with wanting more duck calls, I dont see how that is a problem lol. Anyways thanks for the suggestions guys. Keep em coming.

The sidewinder from falling feathers game calls has a great ducky sound. They tune them for as raspy as you want to go.

How is the RM Gold Digger when compared to CCC Throwback big bore. From what I've read on here, I think I need another Gold Digger (already have one at home, been married to her for 11 yrs now lol) .
